2. Description of Services

ReelMate provides a platform for creating, editing, and sharing short-form videos with AI-powered automation, captions, and voiceovers. Our Services may include, but are not limited to:

  • Video creation and editing tools
  • Automated caption generation
  • Text-to-speech and voiceover capabilities
  • Content storage and management
  • Sharing and distribution features

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of our Services at any time without notice.

3. User Accounts

To access certain features of our Services, you may need to create an account. When creating an account, you agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

You represent and warrant that:

  • You own or have the necessary rights to your User Content
  • Your User Content does not violate the rights of any third party, including intellectual property rights and privacy rights
  • Your User Content complies with these Terms and all applicable laws and regulations

5. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use the Services for any illegal purpose or in violation of any laws
  • Upload or share content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, or otherwise objectionable
  • Impersonate any person or entity or falsely state or misrepresent your affiliation with a person or entity
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Services or servers or networks connected to the Services
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Services
  • Use the Services to send unsolicited communications or promotions
  • Use the Services to collect or harvest user data without consent
  • Use the Services in any manner that could disable, overburden, damage, or impair the Services

6. Intellectual Property

The Services and their original content (excluding User Content), features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of ReelMate and its licensors. The Services are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws of both the United States and foreign countries. Our trademarks and trade dress may not be used in connection with any product or service without our prior written consent.

7. Subscription and Payments

Some aspects of our Services may require a subscription or payment. By subscribing to our Services or making a purchase, you agree to pay all fees and charges associated with your account on a timely basis and in the currency specified. All payments are non-refundable unless otherwise specified in our refund policy or required by law.

We reserve the right to change our prices at any time. If we change our prices, we will provide notice of the change on the website or by email, at our discretion.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE, THAT DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED, OR THAT THE SERVICES OR THE SERVERS THAT MAKE THEM AVAILABLE ARE FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, REELMATE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM (A) YOUR ACCESS TO OR USE OF OR INABILITY TO ACCESS OR USE THE SERVICES; (B) ANY CONDUCT OR CONTENT OF ANY THIRD PARTY ON THE SERVICES; OR (C) UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS, USE, OR ALTERATION OF YOUR TRANSMISSIONS OR CONTENT.

10. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless ReelMate, its officers, directors, employees, and agents, from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including, without limitation, reasonable legal and accounting fees, arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of the Services or your violation of these Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or your use of the Services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in San Francisco County, California.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.

By continuing to access or use our Services after any revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms. If you do not agree to the new terms, you are no longer authorized to use the Services.
